This was made for some friends who had a baby in June (welcome Valin!) – mom’s got dreads, dad writes books about pirates and really, who doesn’t love robots??

I give you, Dread Pirate Robot.

The Robot is a Jess Hutchison pattern from Unusual Toys for You To Knit and Enjoy and the pirate hat is from Amy Gaines’ Knit Amigurumi Pirate Panda Pattern.

Dread pirate robot is awesome – and so many possibilities for offshoots. Pirate rockstar robot, Nurse zombie robot…
