Multiple Sclerosis: The Big Knit

“Multiple Sclerosis: the big knit was a collaborative knitting science project to promote awareness and understanding of the disease Multiple Sclerosis (MS) by creating a woollyart installation. The project aim was to engage people with science through the act of creating and via the social nature of knitting.”

Multiple Sclerosis is a condition that affects the brain or the spinal cord, causing the person problems and symptoms including having trouble with vision, fatigue, an overactive bladder, movement and balance. MS can also cause pain for those suffering, which can interfere with day-to-day life.

    I would really like to see what Bipolar Disorder would look like. Mental Illnesses are a serious problem and doesn’t always get the attention it requires.
