I didn’t join “human team selfie” until late last year when I was asked to review a Gnome Workshop selfie stick. I’m skeptical of selfie culture in general and was assuming I wouldn’t like a selfie stick but I was wrong. They’re not only useful for family-based selfies, but they’re practical for taking all sorts of shots, especially from a moving golf cart on Isla Mujeres!
I did get some knitting done while in Mexico this past Christmas. I started this adorable Failynn Fox Cowl for my sister-in-law, Jennifer (seen in the photos above):
Hoping to get it done today and yes, I will share a selfie using my new selfie stick before I mail it off to Toronto for her birthday!
* I received a Gnome Workshop selfie stick at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest review. This Bluetooth Foldable Selfie Stick with shutter button / Mono pod worked great for me and my family. I brought it along on a recent vacation and was pleased that it didn’t take a long time to set up. Within five minutes, the bluetooth connection was operating smoothly and the selfie stick was paired with the native camera of my android mobile device. It held a long charge and was comfortable to transport in my purse. The rubber is soft and premium quality, so it didn’t feel like I was trucking around big equipment. The rectractable length was a nice surprise and it held the phone securely and safely at all lengths.
