Crochet a Dr. Mae Jemison Amigurumi To Support Women in STEM!

If you’re a fan of women in STEM and crochet, then you’re going to love Ada Lovelace Day’s newest project! They’re creating a series of amigurumi patterns featuring women in STEM.

Up first is Dr. Mae Jemison! She became the first woman of color in space on September 12th, 1992, going into orbit on the Space Shuttle Endeavour.

This pattern depicts Dr. Jemison in her orange Nasa flightsuit, producing a doll around 25cm tall. Get the pattern via Ravelry.
