I saw Leanne Smith’s incredible photos of this worthy project and fell in love. Thankfully she gave me permission to post a few pics from her fabulous Flickr page – thanks Leanne!

Yarn Bombing Project Helps Homeless in Calgary

From This Is My City, “we are wrapping a house in Hillhurst/Sunnyside with knitting and crochet to symbolize the warmth and comfort of home that many of us take for granted. The Calgary Homeless Foundation owns this old house and is building a brand new apartment in its place, designed to house differently abled individuals who are exiting homelessness.”
