As u must know by now, your ginger cat in a blue shrug, is eagerly sought after, including by me! If by chance, you still have the pattern available would u please fwd me a copy.
The colours in the photo are so amazing, the ginger cat, the lovely blue shrug, and to top
it all off pink flowers with just the right colour green leaves. Absolutely stunning! Well done! Love it, and would LOVE to have a copy of how to make one for my cat please.
Kindest regards

on August 21, 2013 at 3:48 amHi Joanne,
I just found your kind note. I really made it up as I went. I knitted from sleeve to sleeve starting with a k2 p2 rib. You can make the sleeves as long as you like. Then I did a lace pattern until it looked long enough to go across her shoulders and ended with the ribbing for other sleeve. I knitted it flat then seamed the ribs but you could do it in the round. After it was seamed I crocheted around the opening a few times to form the collar and add length to the back. I had not been knitting very long so it is really kind of hit or miss!
I appreciate so much all your kind words.
Thank you,
Beth H

I am so grateful that u described so clearly how you made your much sought after cat shrug. 🙂 I will now go ahead and make a similar one, no doubt at all it will not be as beautiful as your one. You are very artistic and talented. WELL DONE. :-). Kindest regards, Joanne, Cairns, Queensland, Australia. 🙂
