Mind-Bogglingly Amazing Amigurumi – Japanese ‘Nue’ Crocheted by Lumièna
The nue is one of the oldest yokai (supernatural creature) recorded, having its first appearance in the Kojiki (712 CE), an account of the early histories of Japan. It has the face of a monkey, the limbs of a tiger , the body of a tanuki (Japanese raccoon dog) and the front half of a snake for a tail.
Lumièna’s spectacular nue is one of the most interesting amigurumi I have ever come across.
