Aladdin Sane Pillow – A Tribute to David Bowie Crafted by the Knitting Witch

Aladdin Sane Pillow – A Tribute to David Bowie Crafted by the Knitting Witch

David Bowie considers Aladdin Sane (a lad insane) to be the final evolution of Ziggy Stardust … he called it, “Ziggy goes to America.” The album Aladdin Sane was the first one he made as a superstar and it was clear the character had to be retired so Bowie could evolve as an artist. It’s truly an iconic image, probably the most famous of all Bowie iconography, and it’s still inspiring people to this day.

Denise Salway aka The Knitting Witch is the latest fiber artist to pay tribute.

Thank you for sharing with us Denise, amazing work!
