The Wonderful and Wacky Work of Australian Crochet Artist, Deb Elkes

Deb Elkes is a creator, mother and LGBTQ ally who crochets dazzling and bizarre creations … everything from ballgowns to costumes to masks, and her work is often in support of the WA AIDS Council. In other words, this is someone I want to know!

I was intrigued by a dress I spotted on Facebook just recently (called Kiss My Arse, see below) and I reached out to Deb for permission to share. That encounter led me to do a search and I found that her other work is just as incredible. Here are some examples of her wacky and wonderful work:
