Nominate a Teacher For Teacher Appreciation Week and They Could Win $1000 For Their Classroom!

As the parent of a sixth-grader, I’ve seen firsthand how school systems are reconfiguring themselves to ensure that our students can still be learning from home during this uncertain time. These changes are happening across the country, in schools in every zip code, and with sweeping school closures, parents and teachers are adjusting to a new norm. Many parents (like me!) have bravely jumped into homeschooling as teachers continue to send learning materials and conduct classes through video conferencing. My son’s teachers are my heroes and I know there are thousands of others like them stepping up to the challenge of the time.

SO … I think it’s safe to say that we’re all appreciating our teachers more than ever! And now there’s something easy you can do to show you care …

Nominate Your Favorite Teacher!

The week of May 4th–8th is Teacher Appreciation Week and the folks at Dollar Days couldn’t think of a better time to help us express our gratitude to teachers. They’re hosting a giveaway in which three lucky teachers will each receive a prize package of school supplies valued at $1,000 from for the coming school year.

But they need YOUR help!

Please fill out the nomination form at Dollar Days to ensure that your favorite teacher is entered for the prize. Three winners will be announced on Friday May 8th!

So hurry, get your nomination in today!

Now is the perfect time to let our teachers know how important they are.
