Reka Kohegyi, a Sir David Attenborough superfan, has spent 380 hours weaving a giant crochet portrait of his smiling face – using an incredible five miles of yarn to pay homage to her hero.

Reka wrote to Sir David Attenborough’s agent to ask who owned the rights to the photo she wanted to use for her graphgan and to ask which charity she should send her donations to.

Attenborough himself replied to say he didn’t know who took the image but that he supports WWF.
