How to Make your Etsy Products Eye-Catching

How to Make your Etsy Products Eye-Catching

Etsy has fast become one of the most visited bespoke online shopping services in the world, with over 4 million active sellers and nearly 90 million active buyers. It can be a great place to expand your business, to start a new career, or just to make a little cash off of your hobby. The problem is that with so many people using the site every day, you have to find a way to stand out from the crowd.

How to Make your Etsy Products Eye-Catching

Make Your Product Look Professional

People love Etsy for the unique products on offer, and because every purchase is supporting an independent business owner. However, it’s no secret that the more professional your products look, the more you’re going to sell.

Setting up professional photo shoots to sell all your products is going to cost far too much money, so why not use a free online background eraser like remove bg? Simply take a nice bright image of your product then hop online and upload it. The system will erase your background, which means you can easily replace it with something clean with no distractions from what you’re selling. You may be surprised by how much this helps!

Add Some Personality

The personal and homemade touch is one of Etsy’s biggest draws, so play up to it! If you have a particular skill that you’re using to make your products, why not talk about it in your bio? Let people know how you learned your skills and how you ended up running your own business. The personal touch may bring in a whole new audience to your work!

Once you’ve incorporated your story and the background of your skills into your profile, there’s no reason why you can’t run online tutorials or classes to teach your skills to all new people that you may have inspired with your words.

Run a Sale

The best way to get immediate traction on your Etsy store is by making sure you’re well stocked with your products and then putting a huge sale up on your store! There’s always some deliberation with running sales, as of course, you could make more money at full price, but would all of your products sell?

Besides, the main aim of all sales is to encourage people to come back for more! So bring people in with a huge week long sale, watch the orders roll in, and then bring your prices back to normal, except now your products are out in the hands of your customers, and that’s where things really start to snowball.

Make Yourself Known

If you’re busy running an Etsy store, it’s worth finding time to expand your reach to other social media platforms as well! Etsy is a powerful place to sell your items, but expanding onto Instagram and TikTok can help you massively.

With an aesthetically pleasing and informative page, you can redirect a large amount of traffic back to your store. It’s also a great way to introduce yourself in person and add some extra personality to your business!
