Cecilia Espinoza’s crochet chromosome 7

2011-10-19 07 26 p.m.

Submitted by Cecilia Espinoza who says, hello, my name is Cecilia Espinoza, from Chile. I started with crochet doing Amigurumi a year ago, and after getting the hang of it, decided to crochet a present for my citogenetics teacher. Here is the Chromosome 7, with it’s real stripe pattern and proportions, as we all have in every cell in our body. I hope you like it and share it.”

I LOVE it! Thanks Cecilia!

This is great! I was just thinking that you could create a simple lining for it and fill it with rice, and it would be perfect for a hot or cold pack. :)

This is lovely :) I’m a scientist and a crochet beginner. Would love to make this for my lab mates as a gift. Are you selling this pattern? Could you please let me know as I would love to give it a try.
