Galentine’s Day is celebrated on February 13th, the day before Valentine’s Day. It was popularized by the TV show “Parks and Recreation” when Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler’s character) created it as a day to celebrate female friendships and platonic love between women friends. Think of it as a combination of “gal” and “Valentine’s.”
