    Cute! They are actually called matryoshka (not sure on spelling but should be close), babushka would be a hair kerchief or a grandma. 🙂

      you’re right! in addition, they sometimes also get called babushka dolls too because the traditional Russian nesting dolls feature the lady in the head scarf!
