She Knit Her Vacation, Literally!

She Knit Her Vacation, Literally!

This piece was submitted by Rachel Suntop who says, “I decided while on this vacation to do a knitted documentation of my entire trip. I packed up a bunch of small balls of yarns in many colors and textures and some needles. Each day I knitted what I saw, felt, experienced, etc … I am now in Savannah, Georgia. But since then, I’ve been to Beaufort, SC and captured some of the architecture as well as the swamps, marshes, forests and bodies of water. Right now I’m working on the various “squares” in Savannah through the knitting.”

I really like the skyline panel at the bottom – what a fascinating idea! Check out Rachel’s blog, she has some other interesting projects under her belt, ones I will be sure to share in the coming days: rsuntop.blog.com
