Raindrop Amigurumi Gift Idea

Raindrop Amigurumi Gift Idea

Here’s a handmade/store-bought gift combo idea – an umbrella and a raindrop amigurumi!

About the amigurumi: Based on a free pattern by Abigail Forrest, I knit this amigurumi in about an hour using Lion Brand Kitchen Cotton. Abigail has a bunch of really great patterns that would make great gifts and stocking stuffers, definitely check her out.

About the umbrella: The Crown Coast Umbrella* is a heavier and sturdier umbrella than I’m used to and I like the quality of the fabric. The casing and handle are made of a soft-feeling plastic, which is unusual and welcome. The button and mechanism for opening the umbrella take a little to get used to, especially if you’re accustomed to cheap, throw-away umbrellas, which this is definitely not.

* I received a pair of Crown Coast Umbrella at a discounted price in exchange for writing a review on the blog.
