Third Annual Amigurumi Exhibition at Resobox!

Third Annual Amigurumi Exhibition at Resobox!

On Friday, December 9th my family and I headed up to Long Island City to check out the Third Annual Amigurumi Exhibition at Resobox. We go every year and this year it was extra special because I’m one of the amigurumi artists! Thank you to Resobox for the honor, I’m so happy to be part of this amazing show.

The theme this year is “mixed materials” so I made jellyfish amigurumi lamps using vending cups, LEDs, yarn and special ribbon. I’m happy with them, especially considering that this is the first year I’ve really learned how to crochet properly – I’ve been knitting since I was nine, but never really picked up crochet until this year.

If you’d like one, visit Resobox before the end of March 2017 OR email me and I’ll create a custom piece just for you. In the meantime, here are a few pics from the show – enjoy!
