I’m a bird nerd and I’m about to drop some facts … did you know that there’s no such thing as a seagull? It’s true! The birds we casually call seagulls (I do it all the time!) are actually just gulls, and they’re a diverse group. With over 50 species worldwide, gulls range from the tiny Little Gull to the imposing Great Black-backed Gull, and many don’t even live near the sea!
