“The Queen of Salsa” — Celia Cruz Yarn Bomb by AlexCreates

Celia Cruz was a Cuban singer of Latin music. Leila Cobo of Billboard Magazine once said “Cruz is indisputably the best known and most influential female figure in the history of Cuban and Latin music”.

To celebrate this fabulous legacy, fiber artist Alexander Reynoso (you may know him as AlexCreates) mounted this amazing yarn bomb, currently on display in New York City at 120th Street and Park Avenue in Harlem.
