Soft Crochet Sculptures By Imprisoned Outsider Artist Carole Alden-Breaux
These sculptures are the creations of outsider artist Carole Alden-Breaux. Her background story is complex, she’s currently serving a prison sentence for shooting and killing her husband in self-defense in 2006. You can read about her story in a book called Cold-Blooded Kindness, written by by Barbara Oakley, PhD. The most recent news article I can find about Carole was published in 2012 about her parole denial. Currently her release date is set of July 27th, 2021.

Hello,
Carole Alden here. You have some of my images on your site. These and all those found on Fine Art America, and any other website listed under, “Alden-Breaux studios” were obtained fraudulently. I have no association with the individual who is collecting $ under my name. Additionally, the book you are inadvertently promoting is largely fictional and incredibly offensive to all parties involved.
I would be happy to provide accurate information about both my work and circumstances.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
Carole Elizabeth Alden

Carole, there are images of your work on many public sites. I’m not linking to any site that is selling your work. I appreciate your comment and circumstances but am unsure what you are asking me to do.
