She Crocheted an RCMP Outfit For a Newborn, Hat & Boots Included!

Maker Lyne Scott whipped up this adorable outfit for her expecting friends because the dad-to-be is a Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer, isn’t that so sweet? I emailed Lyne for permission to post this and she said, “of course you can!”

Is there a pattern available for the RCMP hat and jacket? I would like to crochet one or knit one.

Hi Andrea, I don’t see a pattern available. If/when one becomes available, I will update this post.

Can you please advise me as well if there is a pattern and/or if Lynn is wanting to sell a copy of this pattern.

I M so desperate for this pattern I work at a detachment in southern alberta and am currently crocheting thin blue line Afghans for the members but one has a new born and another due in December this would make such an amazing gift

I have been working on both a knit and crochet version as I’m not sure which I like better. I wish there was a pattern for all the pieces too. I’ve been fudging it for 2 weeks now and I really need to get this done.

Has anyone been able to find a proper pattern to either crochet or knit the RCMP pattern? My SIL is an RCMP officer in BC and they are expecting their first child-a boy, and I’d really love to be able to make them something. Has anyone found a pattern? I’m no good at trying to make something without a pattern. Please let me know.

I did go to check out the pattern for the baby RCMP outfit that is located on Ravelry and it has a pattern with long pants that you can order for $5.30 US prices if anyone was wanting the pattern.
