
Award-Winning Fiber Artist Anna Marie Peterson Painted With Wool … Did I Mention She Started At Age 94?

UPDATED December 2021: I just learned that Anna passed earlier this year, on September 9th. I am deeply inspired by this artist and her life well-lived. If you’ve ever thought you were too old to take up a new hobby or craft, think of Anna who learned needle-felting at the age of 94 and excelled at her practice to the point of showing in galleries … I mean, wow! Thank you Anna, rest in peace! (p.s. Anna’s daughter Betty is also a fiber artist, you can follow her adventures here.)

Can you believe she only learned needle-felting at age 94?! Next time I feel like I’m too old to learn something new or take on a new life challenge, I will think of her!
