UPDATED December 2021: I just learned that Anna passed earlier this year, on September 9th. I am deeply inspired by this artist and her life well-lived. If you’ve ever thought you were too old to take up a new hobby or craft, think of Anna who learned needle-felting at the age of 94 and excelled at her practice to the point of showing in galleries … I mean, wow! Fiber artist Anna Marie Peterson was recently featured by azfamily.com and I was immediately captivated … she’s an incredible artist and inspiring too. Can you believe she only learned needle-felting at age 94?! Next time I feel like I’m too old to learn something new or take on a new life challenge, I will think of her!
