You’re Invited! Knit a ‘Shadow’ For a Massive Art Installation!

You’re Invited! Knit a ‘Shadow’ For a Massive Art Installation!

UPDATE! Sisse has extended the deadline for submissions to September 1st, 2022.

This looks so cool … Sisse Fog Odgaard is asking knitters around the world to participate in a massive art installation happening in 2022.

To participate, knit as many ‘shadows’ (small spheres) as you can this year, and send them FLAT to Sisse. She asks that you use cotton because it absorbs the glue best, thin yarn and thick needles – all the info to get started is here on Ravlery.

This is what your shadow looks like when you send it (flat), Sisse will turn it into a sphere as part of the installation:

I cannot knit but love to crochet….do you think this can be done in crochet pattern?
