MUST-SEE! 40ft Crocheted Nina Simone Mural, the Third Offering in Olek’s ‘Love Across the USA’ Project

Nina Simone Mural

Mounted in Raleigh, NC with the help of over 120 volunteers, this portrait of NC-native and Rock’n’Roll Hall of fame nominee Nina Simone is huge at 40×20 feet! Each volunteer crocheted a 2×2 foot square to contribute towards the piece, which can now be seen at the Raleigh Convention Center.
