Knit a ‘TfuTfuTfu’ Hat … Free Pattern Designed by Limor Hendricks
“TfuTfuTfu, the sound of spitting three times in quick succession, and something that you will hear every Jewish grandmother say to ward off the ‘evil eye’ or some other form of bad luck. This hat was designed as a bit of superstitious fun. The pattern combines Jewish and Mediterranean/Middle Eastern good luck symbols which I grew up with, in a design that is interesting graphically as well as texturally.”
