Meet ‘Flower Power’ … A Fender Stratocaster Covered In Crochet By The Legendary Fiber Artist Joana Vasconcelos

Joana Vasconcelos is no stranger around here, I’ve shared her work here, here, here, and here. She is incredible.
Here is “Flower Power,” a new piece that she’s donated to a charity auction:
This intricate crochet piece is set to be auctioned off on November 4th via The Big Art Auction. Proceeds from the auction will be donated to The Big Issue, a United Kingdom-based organization that creates economic opportunities for folks who are marginalized and in need.
For more of Joana’s work, follow her on Instagram or visit her web site. And visit The Big Art Auction web site for more details. Hat tip: This Is Colossal.
