Maratus, also known as the peacock spider, is a genus of jumping spiders found in Australia and apparently there are 89 known species. Below are the Peacock Spider sceletor, Peacock Spider maratus nigromaculatus, Peacock Spider speciosus (aka sparklemuffin), Peacock Spider maratus banyowla and Peacock Spider maratus personatus, designed by Ka Trin aka Kabelbinder. If Ka adds more species to her collection, I’ll be sure to add them here! Fingers crossed …
KnitHacker is Danielle Holke’s long-running love letter to knitting and crochet. Since 2008, it’s been a home for indie designers, free patterns, amigurumi, fiber art, and the occasional dose of craftivism. Stay a while.
In addition to five-star patterns, I have a selection of ready-to-ship knits in my shop and I also take commissions from time to time.
My popular chicken hat is always a big hit. In fact, one of my customers keeps coming back for more, leaving this review: “sweet lady who’s very considerate and kind. Love my hat so much. Thank you!” 🐔

Affiliate partnerships help keep KnitHacker running and allow me to continue supporting independent designers around the world. In fact, over the years KnitHacker has generated over a million dollars in sales for indie designers – something I’m incredibly proud of. Thank you for your support!
