Wow. Your work is beautiful. I confess I do not know how to knit . I sew a little bit. Here is what i am trying to do maybe you can help me figure out what fabric or weave would be best. I want to find ( I didn’t anticipate making it myself ) a somewhat sheer fabric ( could be open weave or not) that i can shape when i wrap it or drape it around clients over a solid under garmet. I would like to be able to mold a shape that is flattering to them around their face and have it stay in that shape for the evening. I imagined that after each use it could be smoothed out and stored and then reshaped to suit the next occasion. It might be one fabric for the bodice and another for the shoulder/neck area? Then the second piece could be worn separately as a scarf. Can you help me narrow down what it is that would work? I have seen stainless steel weaves that are stunning like yours but I can not knit. Is there any hope for me? I appreciate your time and thank you in advance of your reply.
