I love Max Alexander’s delicate knitting and have featured here gorgeous moths many times, inlcuding: Erasmia Pulchella, Blotched Emerald Moth, Madagascan Sunset Moth, Eyed Hawk Moth, Six Spot Burnet Moth, Pease Blossom Moth, Zaddachi’s Emperor Moth, African Cherry Spot Moth, Merveille du Jour Moth, Tatargina Picta Moth, Peach Blossom Moth, the Death’s Head Hawk Moth … so many moths and now butterflies!
Check out her latest masterpiece, the small tortoiseshell butterfly! Her attention to detail is worth noting.
Just Beautiful Danielle. I would love to obtain a pattern for the Monarch Butterfly – I must admit I know how to knit but do more crochet but every since my mom and sister and her husband have passed – my niece and I look for monarchs – my niece released them at my sister’s funeral. They have special meaning to us. Would be a wonderful gift for her if I could learn to do it. I am willing to pay for a pattern if you have one. Thank you – your work is beautiful and amazing!
